Sub: Implementation of Cashless benefit up to Rs. 1.00 Lakh for the West Bengal Government employees/ pensioners enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008.
Sir,
I am directed to inform that in the Cabinet Meeting held on 24.02.2014, it has been decided that the Government Employees and Pensioners enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 may avail themselves of Cashless benefit up to Rs. 1.00 Lakh during their indoor treatment in the empanelled hospitals under WBHS-2008.
I am also directed to request you to intimate whether you are willing to provide indoor treatment to the beneficiaries of WBHS-2008 under the aforesaid Cashless system. I am also to invite your valued opinion/ suggestion for its implementation.
