Medical Relief shall be applicable in case of Provisional Pension/ Provisional Family Pension as extended by the Government from time to time as a compensation measure.

Grant of Dearness Relief to State Govt. Pensioners /Family Pensioners wef 01.01.2013
State Government Pensioners/Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @ 52% of basic pension/basic family pension with effect from January 1, 2013.
Medical Benefits for Pensioner / Family Pensioner
After getting all the relevant documents the office from which the pensioner / family pensioner is willing to take medical benefits under W.B.H.S. 2008 shall issue an order.
Grant of ex-gratia payment to the State Government Pensioners for the year 2012
Basic pension plus relief on pension as on 31.03.2012 did not exceed Rs. 22000/- shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 900/- in lump per head.
Grant of Dearness Relief to the Pensioners
Governor is pleased to decide that the State Government Pensioners / Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @ 45% of basic Pension with effect from January 1, 2012 onwards.
