MEMORANDUM
Sub: Release of bills pertaining to Arrear Pay & Allowances under W.B.S. (ROPA) Rules, 2009 in respect of Government employees.
In continuation of Memorandum No. 3950-F dt. 27.5.2009, the undersigned is directed to convey the decision of the Government that bills pertaining to 1st instalment of arrear Pay & Allowances under West Bengal Services (Revision of Pay & Allowances) Rules, 2009 in respect of Government employees may be released by the Kolkata Pay & Accounts Offices/ Treasuries in anticipation of allotment of fund in case there is any shortfall of allotment.
The resultant shortfall shall have to be recouped by the concerned Drawing & Disbursing Officer strictly within December, 2009 by seeking allotments from their respective Departments.
