MEMORANDUM
The scale of pay of Official Photographer was revised from Scale No, 10 i.e. Rs. 1390-2970/- to Scale No. 11 i.e. Rs. 4650-10175/- w.e.f. 01.01.96 notionally with actual benefit from 01.01.06 vide this Department’s Order No. 549-ICA dt. 27.02.2009.
2. Consequent upon the revision of the scale of pay of the Official Photographer, some clarifications have been sought for regarding various aspect of fixation of pay. After careful consideration of the matter, the Governor is further pleased to order as follows:-
(i) The Officer holding the post of Official Photographer may exercise option to come under the said revised scale of Pay as is allowed vide this Department’s Order No. 549-ICA dt. 27.02.09 w.e.f. any date between 01.01.96 to 01.01.97 (both days inclusive) within 30 days from the date of issue of this order.
(ii) The pay in the revised scale of pay would be fixed on the basis of unrevised Pay in the unrevised scale under WBS (ROPA) Rules, 1990.
(iii) The CAS/ MCAS Scale of pay would be as were as before as the post of Official Photographer is filled by promotion.
This order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O. No. 868/ Group-P (Pay) dated 02.04.09.
