Framing of programme of training (D.El. Ed) of Para/Contractual teachers, teaching staff of MSKs, SSKs under Panchayat and M.A & M.E departments and Para-Teachers through ODL mode under West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Para teachers have been engaged under SSA from time to time in the State of West Bengal. The orders regarding their duties, renewal of the Contract of a Para teacher, Remuneration, Leave Rules etc. is collected.
Acquiring of higher academic qualification (up to HS or +2 level with at least 50 percent marks) is allowed through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Mode only, without hampering normal duties as a para-teacher in the school.
