In view of call given by some political parties for a 12 hours’ bandh on 28th February, 2022 (Monday), it has been decided that all State Government Offices shall remain open.
Revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for implementation of Krishak Bandhu (Assured Income) Scheme to be effective from the current Rabi season.
In view of a sudden call given by a few political parties for a 12 hours’ strike/bandh on 12th February, 2021, it has been decided that all State Government Offices shall remain open and all the employees shall report for duty on that date.
In view of call given by different trade unions and others for a 24 hours’ All India Industrial strike/bandh on 8th January, 2020, it has been decided that all State Government Offices shall remain open.
Payment for the Krishak Bandhu (Death Benefit) Scheme may be made either by Direct Benefit Transfer to the Bank Account of the beneficiary or by issuance of Account Payee Cheque.
The SOP may kindly be considered as revised to the extent mentioned in the said clarifications, in case of any conflict between the detail SOP issued earlier and the clarification being issued herewith, the latter will prevail.
Government of West Bengal has introduced the Krishak Bandhu Scheme (KBS) to support farmers financially during pre-production stage to make agriculture profitable for the farmers and to provide them social security so that their families are not put to distress in the event of farmer’s untimely demise.
Krishak Bandhu (Assured Income) Scheme under which every farmer including recorded Bhagchasi (Share Croper) will be eligible to get financial support. The financial support will be paid in two instalments.
