Arrears of Dearness Allowance/ Dearness Relief of employees/ pensioners of Grant-in-Aid Institutions for the period from April 2008 to December 2019.
- Arrears of DA/ Dearness Relief of Current Pensioners/ erstwhile Employees, 2026
The Arrear DA/DR, for the period from January, 2016 to December, 2019 shall be calculated as per AICPI and paid in two equal installments viz 1st installment in March, 2026 and 2nd installment in September, 2026.
- Arrear of Dearness Allowance of Serving State Government Employees, 2026
State Government has decided to pay the DA Arrears pertaining to the period April, 2008 to December, 2019 in multiple phases.
- Online Entry of Class XI Marks for Academic Year 2025-2026
Marks of the students of Class-XI (i.e. Semester-I, Semester-ll, Supplementary Examination of Semester-I if applicable, Supplementary Examination of Semester-ll if applicable, Practical and Project) for AY 2025-2026 are to be submitted to the Council through Online Portal within 16.04.2026 positively.

If any of the examinees likes to challenge any answer key of any question paper, may visit the Council Website and send their challenge petition online along with the requisite fee @ Rs. 200/- per question per subject.
- Treatment of Absence on 13th March, 2026 for Strike/ Bandh
Absence of employees on 13th March, 2026 will be treated as ‘dies-non’ and no salary will be admissible unless such absence is covered by any of the following grounds:
- Preparation and Updation of e-Service Book particulars in HRMS
Custodians of Service Books of wholetime State Government employees shall upload the copies of the physical Service Books of all employees within 20th March 2026 positively after scanning them using any available office scanners/ mobile apps.
- Revised Answer Keys of Semester-III H.S. Examination, 2026
Council is hereby publishing the revised Answer Keys to the Question Papers of Semester-III Higher Secondary Examination 2026 held in the month of September, 2025.
- Handling Answer Script of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2026
All allotted packets must be stored in a secure, locked location accessible only to the examiner. Scripts must be protected from environmental hazards including moisture, heat, and any potential damage from pests or household pets.
- Introduction of Group Insurance cum Savings Scheme Module in IFMS
Governor is hereby pleased to introduce the “Group Insurance cum Savings Scheme (GISS) module” in WBIFMS in respect of all State government Employees of West Bengal.
- Enhancement of Monthly Rate of Cleaning of Office Equipment, 2026
Monthly rates of cleaning of the different types of office equipment is revised as follows:
1. Telephone – Rs. 20/- per set
2. Computer including Keyboard & Mouse – Rs. 40/- per set
3. Printer Scanner / fax Machine – Rs. 13/- per set
4. Photocopier / Colour Xerox/ Printer cum copier – Rs. 48/- per set
- Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2025-2026
The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 7,400/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2026 did not exceed Rs. 46,000/- p.m.
- Interest Free Festival Advance to West Bengal Govt. Employees, 2026
Governor has been pleased to accord sanction of Interest-free festival advance upto a maximum of Rs. 22,000/- only to State Government employees whose revised emoluments on 31st March, 2026 exceeded Rs. 46,000/- p.m. but did not exceed Rs. 54,000/- p.m.
- Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2025-2026
State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness Relief on pension as on 31st March, 2026 did not exceed Rs. 40,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia of Rs. 3,800/- only in lump per head.
- Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2025-26
State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 46,000/- per month as on 31.03.2026 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2025-2026 at the rate of Rs.v7,400/- per head.
- New Portal for Online Receipt/ Refund of EMD/ Tender Fees
Expansion of scope of the new portal (www.tenders.wb.gov.in) and introduction of the facilities for online Receipt/ Refund of EMD/ Tender fees.
- Schedule for Submission of Bills at Treasury/ PAO in March, 2026
No new Bills shall be received by the Pay & Accounts Offices/ Treasuries after 4 p.m. on 30.03.2026. Bills returned between 24.03.2026 and 25.03.2026 shall be resubmitted by 27.03.2026.
- Definition of Family for the purpose of Death Gratuity
(1) for the purpose of death gratuity,
(i) wife in the case of a male officer, (ii) husband in the case of a female officer, (iii) sons including stepsons, (iv) unmarried/ widowed and divorced daughters (including stepdaughters), (v) brothers below the age of 18 years and unmarried or widowed sisters, (vi) father, (vii) mother, (viii) married daughters.
- Bandhan Bank to Accept Payments of Tax/ Non-Tax Receipts
Governor is pleased to include Bandhan Bank in the list of Participating Banks to accept payments of Tax & Non-Tax Receipts of Govt. through OTC (Over the Counter) and credit the same to the Government Accounts.
