Normal classes will not be held during the period of examinations mentioned above, so that all teachers of all the schools may be utilized for the purpose of invigilation and Examination works.
Higher Secondary Education
Higher Secondary is a 12th standard Examination (10+2) conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. It consist of two parts, i.e. Class XI and Class XII.
Provisional recognition for up-gradation of 86 High Schools to Higher Secondary Level during the academic session of 2012 Published by the Deptt. of School Education.
Education Deptt. recommends provisional recognition for up-gradation of 100 High Schools to Higher Secondary Level for the academic session 2012.
A student, who has secured at least 70% marks in the aggregate and 75% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics taken together in the Madhyamik Examination.
