What is the criteria of calculating the subject benifit for an AT in aided school?
For example: if an Assitant Teacher in aided school joined on 22.07.2003, he completes his 10 ten years on 21.07.2013.
Now, my question is from when the calculation of 10 years benifit to be considered? I mean to say that the 3% additional increment shall be calculated only for 10 days (22.07 – 31.07) or for the whole month of July? Which one should be considered?
Usual swift response from the forum shall be appreciated.

April 8, 2013 at 11:46 am #77681AnonymousInactive1) His normal increment will be on 01/07/2013 and
2) 10 years benefit will be availed @ 3% on 22/07/2013
*** But if his 10 years complete between 2nd January to 30th June, then he will get double increment on 01/07/2013,firstly 10 years benefit and secondly normal increment in same date. Thanks a lot.April 9, 2013 at 3:44 pm #77706AnonymousInactiveI thank you very much for your reply. It is clear now.
I have another question regarding 18 years benifit of AT in aided school. What will be the oredr of calculation? Which one from the below is to be considered for calculation purpose?
1. First Annual Increment; then change of grade pay as per 18 years entitlement; and lastly additional 3% increment for 18 years.
2. First Annual Increment; then lastly additional 3% increment for 18 years and lastly change of grade pay as per 18 years entitlement.
Please advise which one should be considered for computing 18 years benifit.

* After giving option and getting the permission, this incumbent may enjoy his/her financial benefit.
Now the answer of your quarries.
A) Say, 18 yrs. will be complete on 14/05/2013 of an asst teacher,whose B.P.20200/- (Pay Band =16100/- + G.P.=4100/-)
a) 3% increment of 20200/-=606/- i.e.610/- , total will be on 01/07/2013=Rs. 20810/-
b) 3% another increment for 18 yrs. of 20810=624.3 i.e. 630/- , total will be on 01/07/2013=Rs. 21440/-
c) GRADE PAY increase (4400-4100)=300/-
d) BASIC PAY WILL BE ON 01/07/2013 =21440+300 = 21740/-
e) Next increment will be on 01/07/2014.

Please include it with above.
If the 18 years falls between 2nd January to 30th June, say,18 years falls 03/01/13 and the incumbent takes his financial benefit (3% increment for 18 yrs.) on that day (03/01/13), then he will not entitled his annual increment in 01/07/2013. Next increment will get on 01/07/2014. Clear ?
