March 12, 2013 at 2:36 am #77325AnonymousInactiveAs fer as my knowledge is concern, approval from D.I is require for your whole service life.
June 5, 2013 at 5:37 pm #78101AnonymousInactiveNo, no need to take the permission from D.I. to enjoy 10/20 years of benefit. In case of 18 years it is necessary.
Thanks a lot.August 27, 2015 at 9:48 am #80984AnonymousInactiveIs there any G.O. for this?
August 27, 2015 at 12:30 pm #80989AnonymousInactivePlease follow the link. you will have your answer: https://wbxpress.com/topic/clarification-of-benefits-as-per-ropa09-school-education/. Don’t forget to copy and save the G.O. No.: 181-SE /5B-1/09. Dated, the 8th October, 2009.
August 27, 2015 at 5:15 pm #80998AnonymousInactiveI didn’t find the answer to my question in the referred link. I have found that the approval of DI is required for 18 years benefit. But for 10/20 years benefit, the approval matter is nowhere mentioned in the said GO.
I am in need of the GO where it is mentioned that the approval of DI is not required for 10/20 years benefit.August 28, 2015 at 6:11 am #81000AnonymousInactiveI am in need of the GO where it is mentioned that the approval of DI is not required for 10/20 years benefit.
@tapas999 It is a usual practice. Almost all the D.I. office bearers are aware of it.August 28, 2015 at 6:47 am #81001AnonymousInactiveI am in need of the GO where it is mentioned that the approval of DI is not required for 10/20 years benefit.

(1) if an employee whose pay is fixed up to Pay Band 3, in Annexure -VI and who has not got a single promotion to a higher scale in the same post even after completion of 18 years of continuous satisfactory service -, shall be placed in the next higher grade pay of the same pay band lowest grade of the next higher pay band, as the case may be with the approval of the of the DI. (It is called non-functional movement). The designation remains unchanged. The employee fixed with an 3% of increment & next G.P.
(2) But as the case of 10/20 years of benefit ( it is called non-functional increments), there is no need to permission from DI. The employee fixed with only an 3% of increment.
Hope, the matter is cleared.
Thanks a lot.August 28, 2015 at 2:50 pm #81007AnonymousInactivethank you…..it is clear to me but I was in need of the GO supporting the non-requirement of DI approval for 10/20 years non functional increment.
