If you want to take C.L. (pre-planed), then you should inform to your H.M. before to take such leave. Suppose, there are 20 teachers in your school and 5 of them are absent without advanced information. Then the HM will face a great problem to run the school. According to advanced information he may manage or request to 1 or 2 teachers to come to school and may request to take such leave on another day ( of course it will be consider on importance).
Most of the cases, we take CL suddenly. We don’t know when an incident / accident may occurs in our life. So, it will better to inform him over phone and apply for CL at the time of joining.
It is observed that Such manners are differ from school to school. A good numbers of HM do not ask their staff to submit application for CL.
Obey the customs of your school. Protest against the decision of blue coloured eyes.
