Sub: e-mode system for remittance of Fees etc. to the Board’s Fund.

Sir/Madam,

To avoid hassles of encashment of drafts coming in huge number in short span of time (validity of draft has now been reduced to only 3 (three) months), it has been decided in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata to adopt e-mode system for accepting fees for the Board.

The fees (examination, registration etc.) are mainly remitted by Schools/Institutions.

The Board so far accepting drafts/ cheques will switch over to the e-mode system for accepting fees/ Charges/ Contributions etc.

System of e-payment in respect of examination fees/ registration fees /other charges payable to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) shall be introduced instantaneously. Arrangement may therefore, kindly be made to remit the amount to the Bank Account of the Board as specified below through National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT)/ Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS).

The Bank particulars given above are correct and true. The Board accepts the liability of making good to School/Party/Govt. the overpayment, if any made under the scheme.

Branch of the Bank is hereby authorized to receive any amount on behalf of the Board to credit to the account as stated above and further authorize that receipt of credit given by the Bank shall be treated as legal quittance.

Specimen of Challan to be filled up by the School/Party for deposit of the amount in favour of the Board is enclosed and also given in the website of the Board which may be downloaded for use. The School/Party concerned may remit the amount from it’s nearest available Bank Branches to the Board’s Specified account.

The School/Party on payment of the amount to the account a specified will intimate in detail the purpose particulars of payment as were being sent by NEFT/RTGS.
