I surprised to see the following Govt. Order in wbxpress.com.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Government of West Bengal
Finance Department
Audit Branch

2. Ordered that the resolution be forwarded to all Departments of the Govt. of West Bengal and published in Kolkata Gazette.
By order of the Governor,
Sd/- P.N. Sammader
Joint Secretary to the
Government of West Bengal
Finance Department…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Our Office already issued G.P.F. Account statement to the Group “D” employees and I assume many of the Offices has done it. Should we wait more for issuing the same?
If not then.
i) I welcome this Order but why so belated?
ii)Why should we re-calculate the Account and Issue revised statement?
iii) Why the rate of interest is not uniform through out the whole F.Year?April 14, 2012 at 1:36 pm #72025AnonymousInactiveRe: G.P.F. rate of interest changed, belated Order published
Friend,
My same question like you. I have not seen before it the dis-uniformity of the rate of G.P.F. interest during the whole F.Y. I shall not be surprised if it will revise again. So it is better to wait now. Is no my friend?April 14, 2012 at 2:12 pm #72027AnonymousInactiveRe: G.P.F. rate of interest changed, belated Order published
I am also thinking so and wait until the G.O. received Officially.April 14, 2012 at 6:44 pm #72036AnonymousInactiveRe: G.P.F. rate of interest changed, belated Order published
Dear friends,
I have also seen the order yesterday and wonder enough, why this type or order issued too late? However I think, Calculation of interest for this year might be complicated. I am attaching herewith a sample calculation sheet for checking and reference.
Thanks.April 14, 2012 at 6:59 pm #72037AnonymousInactiveRe: G.P.F. rate of interest changed, belated Order published
