Kindly help me in the following matter:
1. A contractual employee draws pay in the Pay Scale 15600-42000/- with Grade Pay 5400/-,
Admissible Allowances are : DA, HRA & MA
Q: Should he/she require to submit HRA declaration like other regular govt. employee of WB ?
2. His/her spouse is a Central/State govt. employee posted in the office outside West Bengal drawing HRA of the respective govt.
Q: Is the rule of HRA ceiling i.e. Rs. 6000/- of both husband & wife applicable in this case?
