I have joined just few minutes ago in ”our” community.I have joined as a primary teacher in 2010.I took admission in 2007 in B.A hons..I had sat for part III in 2010(before joining) but cancelled all the four papers.I had got then a marksheet which was written as ”FAILED’.. in 2011 I gave those four papers and completed my graduation without taking permission from S.I…I mention my higher qualification as H.S everywhere in my profession….
1)is my degree valid?
2)can I mention B.A degree as higher qualification now?
3)if I join in an another job based on B.A as a fresh candidate, will I have problem?
4)I am now studying m.a part II(without taking any permission).if D.El.Ed is equivalent to B.Ed,then will I be eligible for West Bengal SSC exam? I am in tension, post answer plz……………June 26, 2013 at 4:56 pm #78188AnonymousGuest
I don’t think your degree will be invalid if you had taken leave for your exam and I hope you are doing your masters in distance mode with out hampering your normal duty. However you may sit for SSC but till now D.Ed.Ed is not equivalent to B.Ed in SSC.June 30, 2013 at 4:16 am #78205AnonymousGuest
Though D el ed is not equivalent to Bed yet is it not possible to sit in ssc of a D el ed holder after 2015?July 6, 2013 at 1:32 am #78228AnonymousGuest

@Krsh: Sorry for late to answer. You may show Graduation as your higher qualification. It is not necessary to say your present employment status for Psc and school service (if experience is not asked) if you do not want any facility of past service. You have to join as a fresh candidate and you have manage to get resignation and no liability certificate from your current employer if you get chance.September 4, 2013 at 3:10 am #78615AnonymousGuest

Dear friend, Will you please share how did you attend the B.A. course / exam(part III) final time? did you take leave for that?April 20, 2014 at 3:51 pm #79410AnonymousGuest
yes i had taken casual leaves on those four exam days.but i have no copy from S.I. i had not just signed those days in our attendance register.
as i had ”failed” in four hons papers in 2010,(actually cancelled) i did not attend any class in 2011(we know that it is not compulsory to attend the class next year in my case generally, but dont know the actual burdwan university official rule for this.)dada, hopefully i make you understand my details and problem….April 22, 2014 at 3:46 pm #79414AnonymousGuest
To the best of my understanding, your degree will not be invalid. There is no need to take copy of leave from S.I. for C.L. To take leave is necessary to justify yourself before a court of law is you need to ever visit one for justice to your study/degree.
Best of luck brother.April 28, 2014 at 2:16 pm #79439AnonymousGuest
