No Leave Sanction in Health Deptt during Heat Wave Situation

ORDER

In view of the ongoing heat wave situation, all Government Health Care Delivery facilities are hereby set on high alert mode and the concerned administrative authorities are directed to cope up with any emergent situation accordingly as also ensure that all employees deliver their duties and responsibilities in conformity of such requirements.

The concerned administrative authorities of all Government Health Care Delivery facilities are further directed not to sanction any kind of leave in favor of all the Medical Teachers, Medical Officers, Nursing Personnel and other concerned employees deployed and functioning in high priority delivery points namely maternity wards, Labor Rooms, Neonatal Wards, Pediatric Wards, NICU, PICU, SNCU, SNSU etc in view of the aforesaid situation.

However, in such cases any leave needs to be sanctioned due to special grounds, the same must be sanctioned by the Leave Sanctioning Authority with approval of DHS & Ex-Officio Secretary or DME & Ex-Officio Secretary, as the case may be.

These directions shall take immediate effect and remain in force until further orders.
