Staff Quarter Mandatory for Staff Nurses?

Is staff quarter mandatory for Staff Nurses in State Govt.Hospital(BPHC)? Is there any rule for that? My home is within 2 KM from the Hospital. I don’t want to take staff quarter and want to withdraw HRA. Please let me know its’s very urgent.

If there is a ear marked Govt. Quarter then its mandatory.

my few friend are there in other BPHC , but they are not staying in staff quarter. They are withdrawing HRA as their home is nearer to hospital. So is there any common rule for that or does it depend on BMOH of the BPHC??

the common rule is to stay near the hospital (within 8 km radius).

From where can I get the rule book in which it is mentioned about 8 KM radius?

Then I can write an application with the copy /print out of rule book to the BMOH.

It is a general rule not specific to staff nurses. But I can’t remember where I have seen this. Let me search it for a while.
