A State Govt. employee has applied for pre-permission relating to treatment of her son at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, with the necessary documents including Physician’s reference letter. In this case a registered Physician of West Bengal Health Scheme has referred for the same in his personal pad, where it is mentioned that he is a regular attending physician of CMRI, which is also registered under WBHS. But patient was shown in his private chamber. Due to urgency, the patient had to be taken to Apollo, and as far I know they have come back after treatment. Now my question is will the employee get medical reimbursement for the same. An urgent reply is highly solicited.
