There was a long cherished aspiration among the people that the district towns be connected with Kolkata by high speed modern AC VOLVO bus services so that they can travel overnight to reach Kolkata and return back conveniently.
The existing fares of Non-AC Stage Carriages operated by private operators and State Transport Undertakings shall be fixed as per Schedule attached. New fares shall take effect from 11.06.2018.
Sports Awardee will be allowed free travel in the State Transport buses owned and operated by STUs including all types of franchisee and Deluxe buses, STU run waterways and Trams.
