Special Scheme for Employment of Educated Youth of Bengal

Who can apply
Educated youth (men and women) of West Bengal who have passed Madhyamik (Secondary) or equivalent, are currently unemployed, and are not covered under any scholarship or other social security scheme.
Age limit
18 to 40 years.
Financial assistance
₹1,500 per month will be provided as financial support.
Mode of payment
The assistance will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.
Duration of assistance
If employment is not obtained, assistance will be provided for a maximum period of 5 years.
Start date of benefit
The assistance will be provided from 1 April 2026.
Application process
From 15 February to 26 February, application forms will be distributed and collected through college/university campuses.
