Governor is pleased to declare the days as specified at List I below to be Public Holidays during the year 2021. List II which are not declared to be public holidays. List III observed as Sectional Holidays in the year 2021.
As regular classes are suspended due to COVID pandemic, the list of holidays is as per holiday list of West Bengal Govt. No holiday can be adjusted for months when regular classes will remain suspended.
Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the High Madrasah, Alim and Fazil Examinations of the Board has been scheduled to be held in the month of June, 2021 in lieu of the month of February. Considering the above changes the list of holidays for the academic session 2021 needs to be adjusted accordingly.
