Sub: Observation of World Population Day on 11th July, 2013
With reference to letter No. N-11026/3/2013-FP dated 12th June, 2013 of Jt. Secretary Govt. of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, it has been decided the World Population Day, 2013 will be celebrated throughout the state at block and District Level over a period of one month in two phase i.e.
1. Mobilization fort night from 27th June to 10th July, 2013.
2. Population Stabilization fort night from 11th July to 24th July, 2013.
In order to generate awareness among the people on population stabilization issues and bring back the focus on Family Planning.
H’ble MPs, MLAs, Member of Panchyati Raj Institution and Urban Local Bodies, Health Care Work and civil Society Members should be fully involved in various activities undertaken during period.
The theme of the programme will be –
“CHHOTA PARIVAR – SUKHI PARIVAR“
Detailed micro plan and guideline for organizing the World Population Day 2013 Population Stabilization Fort Night (Service Delivery Fort Night) from 11.07.2013 to 24.07.2013 is enclosed herewith. Details of the fund District wise is enclosed herewith for proper utilization to make the whole programme success.
You are requested to convey to concerned officers to prepare the action plan for organizing this programme smoothly and efficiently.
