Handloom refers to textiles woven manually on hand-operated looms without the use of electricity. It is a traditional cottage industry in India that provides employment to rural artisans and preserves indigenous weaving techniques and cultural heritage.

Rs. 10,000 will also be provided towards raw material assistance for production of handloom products. To get this benefit, the raw material, i.e. yarn has to be procured through Tantuja.
