Madhyamik Pariksha is a 10th standard Examination. Compulsory subjects are First language, Second language, Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics, History and Geography.
This is to notify to all Heads of Secondary Schools, Teachers, students of Class X that the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has reduced 30-35% of the syllabus of the subjects (First Language, Second Language, Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, History and Geography)
Government of West Bengal has formed an expert committee to review the situation and recommend on the following points: 1) Whether to conduct/not to conduct the Madhyamik/ Uchhamadhyamik (Secondary/ Higher Secondary) examinations, 2021.
In continuation to the announcement made by the State Government today, the undersigned is directed to notify all the recognised X-Class Institutions of the state that the Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2021 is postponed and will not be held in June, 2021.
As directed by the Honourable Minister-in-Charge, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has reduced 30-35% of the syllabus in all the subjects for Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.), 2021.
As directed, you are requested to convey all the Venue Supervisors to engage Para-teachers in the duty of invigilation in Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.), 2020.
Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2020 (both Regular & External) will be held from 18th February, 2020 to 27th February, 2020. Each day from 11.45 a.m. to 3 p.m. (First 15 minutes for reading the Question Papers only).
A Control Room shall be opened for smooth conduct of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) round the clock everyday on and from 06.02.2019 till completion of the Examination (22.02.2019).
This is to notify that West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is going to publish Test Paper (2018-2019) for Madhyamik Pariksha-2019 very shortly.
Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2019 (both Regular and External) will be held from 12th February, 2019 (Timing: 11.45 a.m. to 3 p.m.) upto 27th February, 2019.
Each and every School must prepare the question papers for selection test/ 3rd summative Evaluation of Class X and the name of the Institution must be printed in the question papers.
