Here you will find all G.O.s regarding West Bengal Revision of Pay and Allowances, 2009 in chronological order. ROPA 2009 is based upon 5th Pay Commission.
The first higher Scale and Second higher Scale of direct recruit Assistant Information Officer for the purpose of CAS ’90/ MCAS ’01 benefit would be Scale No. 16 (Rs. 8000-13500/-) and Scale No. 17 (Rs. 10000-15525/-) respectively.
The pre-revised pay Scale No. 14 shall take effect from 01.01.1996 notionally and actually w.e.f. 01.01.2008. All other terms and conditions as laid down in the W.B.S. (ROPA) Rules, 1998 shall apply mutatis-mutandis.
The benefits of the West Bengal Services (Revision of Pay and Allowances) Rules, 2019 may be applied mutatis-mutandis towards revision of scale of pay of the employees in the Govt. approved posts in the Institute of Historical Studies, Kolkata.
Governor is further pleased to apportion the said additional post of Engineer-in-Chief & Exofficio Secretary into the cadre of West Bengal Engineering Service under Public Works Department.
Payment of 20% of Arrears in Connection with Revision of Pay Structure under the UGC Pay Revision Scheme of the Vice Chancellors and Pro-Vice Chancellors.
Assistant Masters/ Mistresses in Physical Education in Govt. Schools gets pay under Pay Band-4 of Rs. 9000-40500/- with G.P. Rs. 4800/- under ROPA, 2009 may be classified as Group-A.
Decentralisation of the work relating to fixation of pay of the officers of the erstwhile West Bengal Junior Audit & Accounts Service which has since been merged with the West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service w.e.f. 01.04.1981.
Governor has been pleased to allow the State Government employees who have earlier exercised their option in violation of rule 5 of the W.B.S (ROPA) Rules, 2019.
The officer holding the post of Sub Divisional Information & Cultural Officer may exercise option to come under ROPA, 2009 on the basis of such notional pay in relaxation of note 4 below Rule-6 of WBS (ROPA) Rules ’09.
