Governor is pleased to identify the following organizations, Branches and Sections of Government of West Bengal to which the provisions of “The Right to Information Act, 2005” shall not apply under section 24(4) of the said Act.
Right to Information
Right to Information Act, 2005 mandates timely response to citizen requests for government information. It is an initiative taken by the Central Government.
Services from Land and Land Reforms Department along with the stipulated time limit for rendering the services, the Designated Officers responsible for providing the services, the Appellate Officer and the Reviewing officer.
Governor is pleased to notify different services and the Designated Officers, Appellate Officers and Reviewing Officers responsible for providing such services in Higher Education.
Public Service Commission, West Bengal is committed to deliver absolute transparency in all its activities, there is no room for malpractice from any part of the process.
Service: Registration of cooperative Society (Primary other than coop. Credit structure entity); Stipulated time limit: 60 days from the date of application with all required papers/ documents
Designated Officers, Appellate Officers and Reviewing Officers are responsible to render the services under stipulated time limit under Section 3 of West Bengal Right to Public Services Act, 2013.
No suo motu disclosure under R T I Act is made. Copy of Circulars/ Orders issued from Audit Branch are sent to R.T.I. Cell. However, it will be sent to the concerned Joint Secretary/ Deputy Secretary of Finance Department for uploading in the Departmental Website.
