    Dear sir dept of personal and training said that a married son is not eligible for compassionate appointment in rules of 30may 2013 circular now tell me that martial status for eligibility is considered from date of applications or from 30may 2013 please reply

    As per latest West Bengal Scheme for Compassionate Appointment, 2013 published vide Labour Deptt. No. 251-Emp. dated 03.12.2013, there is no mention in the dependent family members list whether the son is to be unmarried for eligibility.

    the above attachment is for central government employees in which married son is not considered as dependent upon government servant.
    in my opinion the marital status will be considered during application for appointment on compassionate ground.
