After doing service for 5-6 years as LDC, if someone goes to be WBCS officer or any other higher post of WB Govt. What is the procedure that his service remain continuous?
If he has applied through proper channel that is with due intimation and after obtaining permissions for sitting in WBCS exams from his office where he was working as LDC this is not much of a problem . At the time of leaving LDC post he should offer technical resignation and then he should apply for past service counting on plain paper after joining WBCS . The rest will be taken care of by his new office .
If someone working for 15 years in the post of UDC in State Govt. goes to be Assistant Professor in Central Govt. Service, provided he has obtained pre-permission from office where he is working , then how can he get his (1) service continuation and (2) what will be his benefits as relates to his promotion in new post.
