Sub.: Credit of Yearly Interest to the Provident Fund Accounts for the Financial Year 2024-25
In continuation of the measures undertaken for timely and transparent crediting of interest to Provident Fund subscribers to the institutions on boarded in the Non-Government Provident Fund (NGIPF) module, the undersigned is directed to state that the interest on Provident Fund deposits for the financial year 2024-25 has been duly issued by the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance (DPPG), West Bengal, in accordance with the procedure as laid down in Para E of Memo No. 4357-F(e-Gov) dated 14.07.2023 as per the below mentioned procedure-
1. For PF Operators who have been accorded permission by DPPG, WB, the interest has been credited online into the individual employee PF accounts after acceptance of the employee-wise PF register, by book adjustments by Accountant General (AG), West Bengal as prescribed by the Finance Department.

2. For DI/ADI/AI of Schools (Secondary Education), the interest for the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25 would be credited within 30th September, 2025 into the individual employee PF accounts after acceptance of the employee-wise PF register of all DI/ADI/AI of Schools (Secondary Education).
3. In case of PF Operators who have not been accorded permission by DPPG, WB for capturing balance online, the existing offline procedure of interest claim by PFD Admins continues to be followed.
All concerned PFD Admins, Institutional Authorities, and PF Operators are requested to take necessary steps to verify the credit of interest in their respective systems and ensure that subscriber accounts reflect the credited amounts accurately. Any discrepancies may be reported to DPPG, WB for timely resolution. This order is issued with the approval of the competent authority and is to be brought to the notice of all concerned.
