    The aim of Matir Katha is to empower the farmers with the knowledge of government recommended package of practices, latest innovations and advisories, 24/7 crop protection solutions on the field so that farmer can produce more, sell the produce at right price and earn more.

  • Bangla Fasal Bima Yojana (BFBY) Scheme

    Bangla Fasal Bima Yojana (BFBY)/ Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojona (PMFBY) will be implemented in all districts of the State during RABI 2018-19 season for the crops and Insurance Units.

    1. Financial Support Scheme for Farm Mechanization (FSSM). 2. One Time Assistance to Small and Marginal Farmers for purchase of Small Farm Implements (OTA – SFI) 3. Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for Rural Entrepreneurs to set up Custom Hiring Centres (CHC) of Farm Machinery.

  • AGRISNET – Department of Agriculture, West Bengal

    They also provide support services through soil testing, soil conservation, water conservation, and seed testing/ seed certification. These bodies are also involved in plant protection and quality control of fertilisers, pesticides etc.

  • Suphal Bangla – Home Delivery of Vegetables

    Suphal Bangla project commenced through door to door selling of vegetables in mobile vans. This project ensures availability of food and nutritional security at reasonable price.
