Reservation of Vacancies in Services and Posts

Recruitment

There shall be reservation of 22% for members of Scheduled Caste, 6% for members of Scheduled Tribe. There is no reservation for Backward Class candidate for promotion.

State Government has conducted sample survey to ascertain the relative backwardness of the classes included in the lists of other backward classes of West Bengal.
