Plan projects/ schemes having estimated cost of more than Rs. 50 crore shall now have to be referred by the Administrative Departments to the State Planning Board for clearance.

Interest Rate on General Provident Fund (01.04.2023 to 30.06.2023)

Payment of Govt Revenue through Debit Card in GRIPS Portal
The system of payment of the State Government revenue in GRIPS portal using Debit Card will be operational on and from 1.8.2014, The Banks should complete the procedural formalities by 31.07.2014.

Rate of Interest on GPF during the year 2016-17
GPF Interest Rate from 01.04.2016 to 30.06.2016 = 8.1%, from 01.07.2016 to 30.09.2016 = 8.1%, from 01.10.2016 to 31.12.2016 = 8.0%, from 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017 = 8.0%.

Interest Rate on General Provident Fund (01.10.2022 to 31.12.2022)
Government of West Bengal shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1% (seven point one percent) per annum. The rate will be in force during this financial year for the period from 01.10.2022 to 31.12.2022.
