West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education looks after the education system in 10+2. Main office at Salt Lake, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices.
On account of ensuing Municipal and Corporation elections to be held in West Bengal, the Council has decided to rearrange the schedule of conducting the Annual Practical Examination, 2015 of Class XI.
Candidates having valid admit card (separate color for old and new syllabus) are allowed to enter examination hall and must occupy specific seating arrangements.
Last date for submission of filled in form for higher secondary registration of 2014-15 academic session is extended up to 16th December 2014 with late fine.
A candidate may apply for PPS/PPR in HS Examination of his/ her answer-script(s) only through On Line within 15 days from the date of result at and
Council has decided the following fee-structure for enrolment of the students in Class XII with the Council from the academic session 2025-2026 onward under the Semester System.
As directed, I am to inform you that the WBCHSE is going to add new facility in the existing online portal on and from 27th of April, 2023 for submission of Academic Applications.
WBCHSE is going to introduce a new online portal for submission of academic applications. You are requested to check the details of your Institution as given in the attached document.
Appeals/ Formats related to H.S. Examination, 2023 are being uploaded in the Council website: https://wbchse.wb.gov.in/ for ready reference of all concerned and smooth conduction of the examination.
Enrolment forms for H. S. Examination 2023 are to be submitted online from 5th to 15th of December, 2022 and Enrolment forms with late fee will be accepted from 19th to 23rd of December, 2022.
Candidates are advised not to apply for PPS/ PPR and RTI simultaneously. This will lead to complications and delay in result publication of PPS/ PPR.
