Higher Secondary Education
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education looks after the education system in 10+2. Main office at Salt Lake, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices.
It is to inform all Heads of H.S. Institutions that, Answer scripts/ note books in Project Papers of non-lab-based subjects will be received on 16, 17, 18 March, 2016 at camps.
If any valid registered plucked (i.e. who failed/ not appeared previous Class XI Annual Examinations) candidate intends to appear in 2023, his/ her fees should be deposited through online mode.
PPS/PPR of Higher Secondary Examination, 2019 can be made Online within 15 days from the date of publication of result i.e. 27.05.2019 from the WBCHSE Website.
The Examination will be held in only one paper on each day from 10 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. (3 hours and 15 minutes time is allotted both for reading question paper and writing answer) except Environmental Education, Fine Arts & Crafts and Music.
As Class XI Annual Examination & Higher Secondary Examination 2022 will be conducted over next two days, you are requested to take following measures for the interest of the candidates:
Prayer for Subject introduction, introduction of Co-education and excess admission of students should be submitted to the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education within 30th of June positively.
Free Books will be handed over to the Head of the Institution or his/her authorized representative confirming the subject-wise student strength.
Examination will be held in only one paper on each day from 2 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. (3 hours and 15 minutes time is allotted both for reading question paper and writing answer).
Books on elective subjects and subjects under Core curriculum will be accepted for allotment of TB Nos. The portions in the syllabus of Council deviating from the Core Curriculum should be dealt with special attention.
