A process of assessment would be taken up between the period of 9th to 21st December 2013 where a stipulated number of students, randomly selected would be taken up. Not less than 20% of all the primary schools of a district are to be covered. This assessment process is the UTKARSHA ABHIJAN – 2013.
Summer Vacation which has already been started w.e.f 19th May 2016 will continue upto 11th June, 2016 and all schools will reopen on 13 June, 2016.
Due to enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct from 27-05-2013, the entire process of Constitution/ Reconstitution of the Managing Committees shall remain suspended upto the date of declaration of result of Panchayet Election i.e. upto 13-07-2013.
School remain open from 26th December, 2012 to 1st January, 2013 to collect and make necessary arrangements for distribution of textbooks among the students on Book Day.
The Centre-in-Charge will make seating arrangements of the candidates in the centre/ venue for not more than 2 (two) candidates on a bench and will engage at least 2 (two) Invigilators for not more than 50 candidates.
Because of the prevailing heat wave it has been decided to approve the proposals of the Boards to reschedule the summer vacation which will now start from 2nd May, 2014 and end on 31st May, 2014.
Students who have secured at least 55% marks in class VII annual examination are eligible to appear at the national means-cum-merit scholarship Examination. At least, 5 (five) candidates should be enrolled from each school.
