Additional Teaching Posts as per 40:1 Ratio for Madrasah School

Additional Post(s) for different types of Non-Govt. Madrasahs will be distributed according to Teacher Pupil Ratio 1:40 as per total enrolment (I-XII) in the Normal section and HS section. The eligible madrasahs will submit the necessary requisition within 30.08.2013.

Distribution of Registration Form of Secondary Examination

Blank Registration Forms for the students reading in class IX of 2013 etc. will be distributed through the Board’s Camp Offices on 31st July, 2013 instead of 25th July, 2013. The date of conducting camp offices is rescheduled due to the Panchayet General Election, 2013.

Observer of Primary TET for each Venue/ Centre

Officers like S.I. of Schools and A.I. of Schools may be engaged for this purpose. After their engagement the other shortfall may be made from other officers at Block/ Sub-division/ District level.

A Comprehensive Policy Outline prepared in consultation with Expert Committee on School Education has been finalized by the Government for curriculum adaptation for ensuring implementation of the same throughout the State.

Recommendation of 4 more Optional Subjects by SED

Introduction of 4 (four) more optional Elective/Addl. subjects duly recommended by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, in addition to approved existing 33 (thirty three) optional Elective subjects under NVEQF programme for Madhyamik Pariksha in West Bengal, 2015.

Lottery System for Admission in Elementary Classes, 2012

At first a general lottery from among all applications irrespective of any category to find out the selected general candidates. Then, a second set lottery for left over candidates in each category i.e. SC, ST and OBC candidates.
