Notification
Whereas it is provided under sub section (1) of section (5) of the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXV of 2014) the University may admit students in different professional courses such as Engineering & Technology, Management etc. in the University against which the tuition fees shall be determined by the State Government from time to time,
And
Whereas the State Government in the Higher Education Department has examined the fee structure for the tuition fee proposed to be charged by the University of Engineering and Management for the academic year 2015-16
And
Whereas the recommendations of the Fee Structure Committee under Higher Education Department for professional Engineering & Technology courses run by the private/ self-financing Institutes of the State has been carefully examined and considered,
And
Whereas all aspects of the matter, including the socio-economic conditions of the State, the demand-supply situation in the private/ self-financing higher education institutes offering Engineering & Technology courses, the number of seats remaining vacant in such institutes in previous years, etc., have been considered.
And, now therefore, the Governor is pleased to fix the tuition fee for the different Engineering & Technology courses in the University of Engineering and Management for the academic year 2015-16 in the manner given below:
I. Maximum tuition fee for the students to be admitted in First Year of the degree level Engineering & Technological Courses in the University of Engineering and Management for the academic year 2015-16 shall be as follows:

| Second Year (2016 – 2017) | Rs. 76,000/- |
| Third Year (2017 – 2018) | Rs. 78,000/- |
| Fourth Year (2018 – 2019) | Rs. 80,000/- |
| Fifth Year (2019-2020) (only for B.Arch course) | Rs. 82,000/- |
II. The maximum tuition fee For the students admitted in the Engineering & Technological Courses other than B. Tech courses in the University of Engineering and Management for the academic year 2015-16 shall be as follows:

III. The University of Engineering and Management will also provide full free-ship to 10% of the students admitted in each of the Engineering & Technology courses in the academic session 2015-16 and during their entire course period, subject to the candidates’ satisfactory academic performance following the provision under sub-section (2) of section (5) of the of the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXV of 2014).
This Notification is issued in the public interest and in supersession of all previous orders issued by this Department on this subject.
