- Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2025-2026The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 7,400/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2026 did not exceed Rs. 46,000/- p.m.
- Interest Free Festival Advance to West Bengal Govt. Employees, 2026Governor has been pleased to accord sanction of Interest-free festival advance upto a maximum of Rs. 22,000/- only to State Government employees whose revised emoluments on 31st March, 2026 exceeded Rs. 46,000/- p.m. but did not exceed Rs. 54,000/- p.m.
- Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2025-2026State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness Relief on pension as on 31st March, 2026 did not exceed Rs. 40,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia of Rs. 3,800/- only in lump per head.
- Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2025-26State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 46,000/- per month as on 31.03.2026 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2025-2026 at the rate of Rs.v7,400/- per head.
- New Portal for Online Receipt/ Refund of EMD/ Tender FeesExpansion of scope of the new portal (www.tenders.wb.gov.in) and introduction of the facilities for online Receipt/ Refund of EMD/ Tender fees.
- Schedule for Submission of Bills at Treasury/ PAO in March, 2026No new Bills shall be received by the Pay & Accounts Offices/ Treasuries after 4 p.m. on 30.03.2026. Bills returned between 24.03.2026 and 25.03.2026 shall be resubmitted by 27.03.2026.
- Definition of Family for the purpose of Death Gratuity(1) for the purpose of death gratuity, (i) wife in the case of a male officer, (ii) husband in the case of a female officer, (iii) sons including stepsons, (iv) unmarried/ widowed and divorced daughters (including stepdaughters), (v) brothers below the age of 18 years and unmarried or widowed sisters, (vi) father, (vii) mother, (viii) married daughters.
- Bandhan Bank to Accept Payments of Tax/ Non-Tax ReceiptsGovernor is pleased to include Bandhan Bank in the list of Participating Banks to accept payments of Tax & Non-Tax Receipts of Govt. through OTC (Over the Counter) and credit the same to the Government Accounts.
- Extension of Post Creation Benefits to Other State Constituted ServicesGovernor has been pleased to accord approval for extending similar career-related benefits including creation of posts for the State Constituted Services under various administrative departments.
- Creation of Additional Posts for West Bengal Secretariat ServiceGovernor has been pleased to create 20% i.e. 06 (six) additional posts of Joint Secretary in Pay Level 21 for West Bengal Secretariat Service.
- Creation of Additional Posts for State Constituted ServicesAwarding different service benefits to certain State Constituted Services of the Government of West Bengal through creation of some additional posts.
- Banglar Yuba Sathi – NotificationGovernor is pleased to introduce a new scheme of the Govt. of West Bengal, to provide a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred) only to the unemployed educated youth of this state aged between 21 to 40 years as on 01.04.2026.
- Banglar Yuva Sathi SchemeBanglar Yuva Sathi provides ₹1,500 per month to unemployed educated youth of West Bengal (18–40 years) for up to 5 years while they seek jobs or training.

- Nodal Officer for Vetting of Estimates by Public Works DepartmentFor streamlining the process, it has been decided to introduce single window entry of all projects having multi-discipline [Architecture, Civil, Electrical/ IT (Electrical), Mechanical] vetting works through the Chief-Engineer, Planning (South Zone), PWD.
- Treatment of Absence on 12th February, 2026 for Strike/ BandhIn view of call given by different trade unions and others for a 24 hours nationwide strike / bandh on the 12th February, 2026 (Thursday)
- Conduct of Examinees during Higher Secondary Examinations, 2026The examinees are prohibited from bringing any kind of printed or written textual material, piece of paper, any other pouches, calculator, pen drives, writing pad, log table, electronic pen/ scanner, mobile phones, blue tooth ear phones, microphones, pager, smart watch, camera, goggles, meta glasses, bag/ handbags, health band, any other electronic device/ gadget, etc. into the examination venue/ hall.
- Enlistment of IDBI Bank as Pension Disbursing Bank in West BengalIDBI Bank will presently disburse pension/ family pension for all categories of pension processed through the Pension Disbursing Treasuries and the Pension Disbursement Office, Kolkata, under the Government of West Bengal.
