MEMORANDUM
Subject: Expansion of scope of the new portal (www.tenders.wb.gov.in) and introduction of the facilities for online Receipt/ Refund of EMD/ Tender fees
To ensure timely implementation of flagship schemes Amader Para, Amader Samadhan (APAS) and Pathashree, the State Government introduced the portal www.tenders.wb.gov.in vide FD Memos No. 4253-F(Y) dated 03.12.2025 and 4280-F(Y) dated 04.12.2025, exclusively for these two schemes.
Subsequently, its scope was extended to the Public Works Department and its subordinate offices through FD Memo No. 291-F(Y) dated 27.01.2026.
The Facility for online receipt/refund of EMD/ Tender fees (wherever applicable) has been also introduced in the new portal and all the TIAs are required to avail the same with immediate effect.
Further to above, all the TIAs registered under new portal in terms of FD Memos No. 4253-F(Y) dated 03.12.2025 and 4280-F(Y) dated 04.12.2025 will be required to use only the new portal for floating all their e-tenders w.e.f. 01.03.2026.
This will be extended for the rest of the TIAs in a phased manner.
