Permission for B.Ed. for School Teachers (Class IX onwards)

During admission in B.Ed courses in the NCTE recognized Institutions, 50 percent seats for Deputed Teachers and 50 percent for the Freshers will be reserved particularly for the teachers teaching for class IX onwards in the coming academic sessions.

Sub: Permission for acquiring B.Ed Training for school teachers teaching class IX onwards.

In pursuance of the Order No. 390(14)-Edn(U)/1U-97/12 dated 08.04.2013, this is to be mentioned that it has been decided that usual practice of reserving 50% seats for Deputed Teachers and 50% for the Freshers, during admission in B.Ed courses running under conventional mode in the NCTE recognized (Govt., Govt.-aided, Self-financed and University Departments) Institutions will be followed particularly for the teachers teaching for class IX onwards in the coming academic sessions.

This instruction supersedes all previous instructions /arrangement related to the matter.
