Rate of Interest on GPF during the year 2016-17

GPF Interest Rate from 01.04.2016 to 30.06.2016 = 8.1%, from 01.07.2016 to 30.09.2016 = 8.1%, from 01.10.2016 to 31.12.2016 = 8.0%, from 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017 = 8.0%.


Update: General Provident Fund Interest Rates

During the year 2016-2017, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds under the administrative control of the Government of West Bengal shall carry interest as follows:-

Rate of Interest for Provident Fund:-

from 01.04.2016 to 30.06.2016 => 8.1% vide No. 2631-F(J)-W.B. dated 30.06.2016
from 01.07.2016 to 30.09.2016 => 8.1% vide No. 4024-F(J)-W.B. dated 21.10.2016
from 01.10.2016 to 31.12.2016 => 8.0% vide No. 4793-F(J)-W.B. dated 20.12.2016
from 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017 => 8.0% vide No. 656-F(J)-W.B. dated 21.02.2017
