Dearness Allowance
Dearness Allowance is granted as a percentage of the basic salary to mitigate the impact of inflation on the employees. Consumer Price Index is a determining factor to fix the rate of Dearness Allowance.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees/ Teachers and Non – Teaching Employees of Non – Government Educational Institutions/ Employees of Statutory Bodies/ Government Undertakings/ Panchayats including Panchayat Karmee and Municipal Corporation/ Municipalities, Local Bodies etc.
Grant of D.A. to the Teachers and Non-Teaching Employees of Non-Govt Educational Institutions/ Govt Undertakings/ Panchayats, Local Bodies etc. w.e.f. 01.01.2017.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the West Bengal Government Employees/ Teachers and non-teaching employees of Non-Govt. Educational Institutions/ Employees of Statutory Bodies.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to State Government Employees and further Ad-Hoc increase in Wages of Daily Rated Workers under the Government with effect from January 01, 2017.
The respective Administrative Department may sanction the benefit of Dearness Allowance @ 52% with effect from January 01, 2013 to the Employees concerned under their control.
Dearness Allowance to the whole time approved and regular teaching and non-teaching employees of DA getting schools (Secondary) and DA getting Anglo Indian Schools (Secondary) w.e.f. 01.01.2014.
