Committee regarding Uniformity in Fee Structure in Colleges

Higher Education

The committee will assess the prevailing fee structure in various Government/ Government-aided Colleges and submit a report to the State Govt. alongwith their recommendation on implementation of uniform fee structure including Tution Fees.

Fee Structure of Engineering & Technology Colleges, 2014-15

Governor is pleased to revise the existing tuition-fee for students admitted in the under-graduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in the private self-financing colleges in the State.

Fee-Structure for two year B.Ed course through ODL mode

Higher Education

Only Rs. 22000/- was decided as admission fees for each student-teacher taking admission into two year B.Ed course through ODL mode. Violation of the above scheduled fee-structure will be viewed seriously.

Ceiling of Tuition Fee in Engineering Colleges w.e.f. 2013

Higher Education

No capitation fee in any form or kind can be demanded or realised from the students for admission or for continuance of study in the college or for any other reason, either directly or indirectly.

e-Mode System for Remittance of Fees to WBBSE

School Education

System of e-payment in respect of examination fees/ registration fees /other charges payable to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) shall be introduced instantaneously. Arrangement may be made to remit the amount through NEFT/ RTGS.

Deposit of 50% Tuition Fees by Colleges to State Govt.

Higher Education

College authority shall deposit to the State Government, 50% of the tuition fees collected during an academic year and rest 50% of the tuition fees may be retained.

Ceiling of Tuition Fee in Engineering Colleges w.e.f. 2012

Higher Education

Tuition Fee is inclusive of Development Fee and thus no separate Development Fee can be charged by the Colleges. No capitation fee in any form can be realized from the students for admission.
