A new table of benefits showing accumulations of savings fund under GISS 87 corresponding to a unit subscription of Rs. 10/- only per month has been drawn up for the period from 1.11.2014 to 31.10.2015.
Fast three instalments of G.P.F. subscriptions will be recovered as arrears subscription from the forth coming salary bills. Already issued orders for final payment of G.P.F. & G.I.S.S. but not yet paid shall stand cancelled.

GIS-subscriptions of the State Govt Employees are properly recorded in their Service Books and these records are verified positively by the respective Accounts Officers/Drawing & Disbursing Officers from time to time.
Model Sanction Order Forms as prescribed in Accounting Procedure to Group Insurance-cum-Savings Scheme, 1983 and 1987 were introduced for making final payment on retirement/ cessation of employment or in case of death.
Each Govt. Employee may make nomination in favour of one or more persons the right to receive the amount that may become payable under the scheme in the event of his or her death before attaining the date of Superannuation.
The family must lodge a report with the concerned Police Station and obtain a report that the employee has not been traced after all efforts had been made.
Group – A: all employees having pay in the pay Band scale with a maximum above Rs, 37,600/- with Grade pay ranging from Rs. 4,400/- to Rs. 10,000/-
