Request for valuation/ market price of land should be sent directly to the IGR or his subordinate offices.
The entire process of requisition of valuation for non-registration purposes, determination of appropriate valuation, and communication of the approved IGR Valuation to the concerned Requisition Authority shall be completed within 5 (five) working days and shall be done through the VNR Module only.
Introduction of VNR Module by IGR & CSR, West Bengal for use of Departments, Parastatals, Autonomous Bodies, etc. for requests of IGR Valuation assessment of immovable properties for public purposes other than Registration
In cases where the total area of the subject land/property exceeds 2 acre, the requisition for such market valuation in the appropriate Requisition Form shall be sent to the concerned District Registrar.
Before communicating the valuation/ market price of land to the requisitioning authority, the same may be approved/ vetted by the IGR in order to avoid any error in the assessment.
