Labour Room Protocol must be made available to every service provider attached to Labour Room/ Maternity ward of all MCH, DH, SDH, RH, BPHC.
Labour Room
A hospital room where a woman in labor stays before being taken to the delivery room. Imminent delivery, ecclampsia, active bleeding per vagina, shock etc. are assessed.

As per recommendation of High Level Task Force on reduction of IMR and MMR, all Medical Colleges are requested to follow the measures for improvement of labour room practices.
