National Emblem
The National Emblem of India is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of Ashoka, which features four lions (only three visible) standing back-to-back. It symbolizes power, courage, and confidence. Below the lions is a base with a wheel (Ashoka Chakra), and the inscription “Satyamev Jayate,” meaning “Truth Alone Triumphs.”
