A new and potentially more transmissible coronavirus variant raised concern about what may be next in the pandemic. The strain, named Omicron, was designated as a variant of concern by the World Health Organization.

Marriage related functions shall be allowed with a maximum of 200 people at a time or 50% seating capacity of the hall/ venue, whichever is lower.
