Sexual Abuse refers to any unwanted or coercive sexual activity imposed on an individual without their consent. It includes a range of behaviors, from sexual assault to exploitation, and can occur in various forms, such as physical contact, verbal harassment, or online abuse.

  • Procedure for Medical Examination of Rape Victims

    Recommendation of National Human Rights Commission regarding Medical Examination of rape victims. Henceforth Medical Examination of sexual assault victims cannot be denied on the pretext of Court order.

  • State Level Nodal Committee for Child Safety from Sexual Abuses in School

    The Nodal Committee would be responsible for spreading awareness amongst the school staff in schools within the state, by conducting sensitisation efforts and disseminating complete information in relation to sexual harassment and/or abuse of children in school(s).

  • Guidelines for Child Safety from Sexual Abuses in School

    Guidelines for the child safety from sexual abuses in the school imparting education from the pre-primary to higher secondary level and receiving any kind of aid from the State Govt and/or recognized under the respective Boards or Council of the State.

  • Guideline for Ensuring Safety and Security of Students in Schools

    Age-appropriate discussion with students by the teachers should be encourage to make students aware of there safety needs, precaution to be taken and to make deference between good or bad touch/ conversation.

  • Protection of Children from Sexual Offences

    To provide for the protection of children from the offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography, while safeguarding the interests of the child at every stage of the judicial process by incorporating child-friendly mechanisms for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and speedy trial of offences through designated Special Courts.

  • Protection of Woman against Sexual Harassment

    To depute plain clothed female police officers in the precincts of bus-stands and stops, railway stations, metro stations, cinema theatres, shopping malls, parks, beaches, public service vehicles, places of worship etc. so as to monitor and supervise incidents of eve-teasing;
