A uniform is a set of standard clothing worn by members of an organization, school, or profession to maintain consistency and identify individuals with a particular group or institution.

  • Cash Allowance in respect of Uniformed Officials of Correctional Services

    Governor has been pleased to enhance the benefit of cash allowance in lieu of Ration Allowance from Rs. 900/- to Rs. 1500/- per month in respect of uniformed officials of Correctional Services viz. Warder (Male and Female), Head Warder, Chief Head Warder, Assistant Controller and Controller.

  • Uniform and Accoutrements for Excise Personnel of all Ranks

    The matter of defining the uniform and accoutrements along with distinguishing insignia for Excise personnel of all ranks has been under consideration of the Government for quite some time to bring in efficiency and discipline.

  • Uniform Allowance and Maintenance Charge for Excise Personnel

    Governor has been pleased to allow a ‘uniform allowance’ @ Rs. 2000/- per head per annum along with a ‘maintenance charge’ @ Rs. 400/- per head per annum in lieu of supplying the same.

  • Uniform for Nursing Personnels under Health Services

    In partial modification of all previous orders in respect of the uniform prescribed for nursing personnel under the Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of West Bengal, the following specifications are prescribed as uniform for nursing personnel while on duty:
